This year we were part of the RMB Latitudes Art Fair for the first time and it was truly an unforgettable experience for us at the Blessing Ngobeni Art Prize Foundation. It was inspiring to be surrounded by such a diverse and talented community of artists, curators, and art lovers who are passionate about contemporary African art. The fair created a space that not only celebrated creativity but also encouraged important conversations, something that aligns deeply with our mission as a foundation. Having the opportunity to share our work and connect with so many people who engaged thoughtfully and meaningfully with our booth was both humbling and beautiful to experience .

We are incredibly grateful to the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) for sponsoring our booth and making our participation in this important event possible. Their support allowed us to present Strange Fruit in a way that honoured the artists and the powerful messages behind their work. We left the fair feeling inspired, encouraged, and even more committed to supporting emerging voices in the visual art space.
