Marketing Workshop

On October 10th, BNAP Foundation proudly hosted a Marketing Workshop at DALRO, designed specifically for creative entrepreneurs looking to enhance their marketing skills.

This engaging event brought together industry leaders and provided invaluable insights into effective communication and storytelling. We were honored to have Matsela Moshokoa, an accomplished entrepreneur and the creative director of Path Nomad, as one of our key speakers. With a rich background in fashion and interior design, Matsela has made a significant impact in the art world through her management of renowned South African artist Nelson Makamo, whose work was featured in TIME magazine’s 'Art of Optimism' in 2019. Her expertise in building collector relationships and driving sales, alongside her commitment to showcasing creative practices, has established her as a pivotal figure in the industry.

Joining Matsela was Earl Abrahams, a talented visual artist and documentary filmmaker dedicated to capturing the essence of the South African art scene. Earl's collaborations with prominent galleries, including Goodman Gallery and the FNB Art Fair, highlight his belief in the power of storytelling to connect artists with the market. Through his work, he uplifts both emerging and established voices in the arts, fostering a vibrant creative community.

The workshop offered a platform for participants to learn from these industry experts, gain practical skills, and network with fellow creatives. We thank everyone who attended and contributed to the success of this event, and we look forward to hosting more workshops that empower our community of artists and entrepreneurs.
