The opening of “Let There Be Fire” by Keabetswe Seema on 1 October at Everard Read Gallery, Cape Town, marked a significant moment for the 2024 Blessing Ngobeni Art Prize recipient. Over the past three months, Keabetswe's residency at Ellis Art House in Johannesburg provided her with a live-in studio, art supplies, and invaluable feedback sessions with the BNAP Foundation team.
Selected from eight promising candidates, Keabetswe demonstrated exceptional dedication and artistry throughout her residency.
